Specimen used in the Compression Parallel to Grain Test
Finger jointed and clear timber specimens used in the compression parallel to grain
test were 20 mm× 20 mm in cross section and 60 mm in length according to test
method describes in BS 373:1957. (Refer Figure 4 and dimensions are not in scale).
